There are a lot of people I know who grab a photo wristband every chance they get. There is something special about capturing moments at a live show. Post some of your photos here!

I’m currently working for a concert photography website based in Cleveland and would love if you guys checked out my work! I haven’t gotten to do a Summer Set show yet, but I’ve shot lots of bands and written a handful of reviews as well! The website is http://www.cleverock.com and my photos and reviews are published under my name “Delaney Canfield.” I attached one photo from my first show I ever did press for, All Time Low back in April!

I’d hardly consider myself a photographer, but I do love taking pictures for fun. Here’s a couple of my favorites from shows..
I’d love to shoot shows someday, but as of now I only have an iPhone to take pictures with.
- October 16, 2014 at 4:38 pm #259

I’ve only been able to shoot one concert and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I really hope I get to do it again in the future. This picture is my favorite from AWOLNATION’s set. The lighting was a challenge but in the end that made it a better experience
- October 16, 2014 at 5:04 pm #278
I saw one of my favorite groups Boy on October 10th 2013, my friend and I waited for only fifteen minutes outside the doors of the venue and we were able to get front row (general admission.) It was the absolute best concert I’ve ever been too, because the show was small, it was very intimate both of the girls in the group looked at me through the whole concert smiling since only another girl and I were the only ones to know all their songs.
Concert like that really show why I love music so much.

I got a pretty good one of you at Legendary Unplugged in NYC!

I’ve been doing it for a few years, loved being able to fly out to cover Warped this year too. This was one of my faves from the trip, got it of Echosmith in CT.
- October 16, 2014 at 6:30 pm #393
This is so good! What kind of camera do you use?
- October 16, 2014 at 5:42 pm #323
This is from The Maine in London last week.. (AMAZING gig.)
I believe I took it just as John stopped the song and was like “everyone put your fucking phones away!”
Gotta love the irony! haha.
It’s definitely not the best but I like to think the blurriness adds to the overall effect…. 😉
- October 16, 2014 at 6:02 pm #340
I shoot shows whenever possible so I’ve built up quite a collection of concert photography over the past few years, haha. A bunch of my photos from shows are posted here: http://chaseawaythesefears.tumblr.com/tagged/music
- October 16, 2014 at 6:03 pm #348
These are some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken at shows. Fall Out Boy in St. Louis, two different Paramore shows in St. Louis, and Brian at a TSS/Plain White Ts show in Lindenwood, MO!
I have no idea why they all uploaded twice but oh well.
- October 16, 2014 at 6:38 pm #398
Here are some pics i’ve taken. (Jack Barakat, Tay Jardine, Hoodie Allen, Lady Antebellum, Bruno Mars, and OkGo) I haven’t got any good pics of TSS yet even though I’ve seen them like 5 times! haha I want to be a music photographer someday like Adam Elmakias. I just don’t know how or what to do! I am getting a camera for christmas though so thats a plus! and I’m also studying photography at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln I hope you guys like my pictures!

I haven’t been to many big concerts – the joys of living in Dela-where? I’m also not a professional, but it’s something I LOVE & it makes me SO happy. BUT I’ve seen some amazing people at smaller shows. Like The Cab, The Ready Set, Andy Grammer, Chris Wallace (formerly The White Tie Affair), American Authors & most recently, The Madden Brothers.
- October 16, 2014 at 7:31 pm #466
took this on my friends phone at camden warped the best live show pic iv ever taken
- October 16, 2014 at 7:55 pm #481
I got into shooting when I was in high school. I went to the AP tour that Never Shout Never headlined (and you guys opened for, I believe) and was lucky enough to do an impromptu shoot with Chris and pretty much that moment was when I knew this was what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.
Photography is what kind of saved me, I guess is how I would put it. But, that’s a whole other story.
And since we’re sharing, these are some of my (recent) favorites from Warped this summer (:
- October 29, 2014 at 4:04 pm #1078

I got into concert photography a little less than a year ago and I don’t think I’ll ever stop.. it gives you a whole new way to experience the music. Here’s one of my photos on Panic! At The Disco..Hopefully I’ll get to shoot TSS someday

So I think my post never posted because my internet was being wonky…so take two lol
Here’s a few of my recent faves in the last few months. I love photography (inherited that from my mom), especially concert photography. I don’t get any photo passes since I don’t take photos for any form of media, just for my own personal collection. I think I like being in the crowd though and battling the “elements” that come with that when I’m shooting lol. 😀
Attached photos from:
TSS Legendary Unplugged NYC Night 2
Lady Gaga – NYC
Queen w/ Adam Lambert – NJ
Rixton – NYC
- October 16, 2014 at 10:43 pm #570
This is the Queen w/ Adam Lambert one (there was an error and it didn’t post with my last post).
Edit: nevermind, it’s still not working oh well lol

I’m not considering myself as a photographer but more as an amateur photographer because I don’t have enought experience yet, but I would love to do that for a living.
I really started the photography at the begining of 2014, before that, I wanted to do it but I didn’t have the right material yet.
I’m working for a website called Plug In (www.plugin-mag.com) and I had the chance to shoot a lot of band included The Summer Set in London (thanks to my french street team).
I really enjoy concert photography and i love hearing feedback about my work so feel free to tell me anything
If you want to see all the shots I took during the different shows here’s my flickr : http://www.flickr.com/photos/alissonnilsson

I’ve been taking photos at local shows since about 2011, but I’m only just starting to get serious about my photography and y’all can look at my photos on my website if you want. http://brittaneypenney.com Here’s a few of my favorite photos from the Paradise Fears show in Austin/Houston that I went to a couple of weeks ago.

Hey guys! I’m a music photographer in Sacramento, CA. I’ve been doing photography for about 4 years now, and have had some amazing opportunities as a photographer. I actually got to shoot Warped tour this past summer, so I thought I’d share some pics from The Summer Set’s set! Feel free to check out my flickr and follow me on insta

Kelly, I went to your website and I just wanted to let you know that the picture you took of Craig Owens at the Slam Dunk Festival stopped me dead in my tracks. I love it so much. The color, the framing, it’s freaking great! You’re so talented!!
- October 20, 2014 at 3:40 pm #833
Can you re post the link to her site??

- October 18, 2014 at 11:31 am #753
Not nearly a photographer but I went to see Panic! at the Disco with Walk the Moon this past summer and got some really cool photos

I really wish i got to see that tour! Looks like the show was sick
- October 18, 2014 at 4:26 pm #762
Thank you for making this post as it inspired me to finally get my act together and start posting on my photography blog (http://alexandra–may.tumblr.com). I’ve never had a photo pass and in no way consider myself a good photographer, but I aim to get a better camera and get there eventually! PS – The amount of talent on this thread is crazy!
- October 18, 2014 at 6:37 pm #771
Someone from my hometown!!
- October 18, 2014 at 9:31 pm #773
Haha okay so I’m like no professional when it comes to pictures (98% of the time I have a bad camera) and I haven’t been to a concert since Warped 2013 (dear lord help i’m deprived!) so like these are all old pictures. I really enjoy them. One’s BLD at Warped 2013, one’s Alex from ATL during the Spring Fever Tour 2013, one of PTV from the same tour, and one of Jordan from The Ready Set from his tour in February of 2013. Sorry for the bad quality, but these are my favorites. Hope these are cool.
- October 19, 2014 at 10:39 am #779
I love going to concerts and I love photography, so concert photography is a passion of mine! I’m still trying to gain more experience, but I took this picture at All Time Low’s A Love Like Tour back in April. I have more pictures on my website (www.alexshimalla.com).
- October 20, 2014 at 4:03 pm #841
These aren’t necessarily pictures I always intended to post for people to see but I am actually a little proud of them. These particular pictures were taken either on my iPhone 5 or my Canam IXUS 240 HS at The Summer Set’s Legendary gig in Glasgow (April 16th). I find it’s always good to get some feedback/tips before you throw yourself into something so if anyone has any, I’d really love if you could tweet me them! (@7DaysOfDales)
- October 20, 2014 at 4:35 pm #852
Damn! These are so rad.
And now i miss scotland
- October 20, 2014 at 9:12 pm #872
John, if you were asking for the link for Kelly’s website here it is http://khmltnphoto.com. Check out the picture she has of Craig Owens. It’s killer.

!!!! Thank’s Tori, I’m really glad you liked the photo.
I always get really excited when people like my stuff, oh gosh.
- October 21, 2014 at 6:21 pm #905
I love this picture of my friend bobby and at his last show in his band Provoke, Destroy.
- October 22, 2014 at 12:55 pm #925
So when I posted my previous pictures I was slightly hesistant about uploading any more as I assumed people would find them tacky or amateur-ish, but after a little self-esteem boost from John I’ve decided to upload more that I’d taken at the Legendary gig in Glasgow. However, where most of my other pictures were taken with my Canon, these were taken with my phone. So excited to see them again in November and hopefully I’ll take even better pictures! ☺️
- October 27, 2014 at 1:14 pm #1025
It was mine and my sister’s second time watching you guys’ perform, but Warped Tour was a completely different atmosphere. Your performance at Western Oregon University a few days ago on Josh’s birthday was amazing and definitely left us feeling some post concert I’m going to listen to every song of theirs on repeat blues. I hope you enjoy the photos and I hope WOU did Josh some justice for his birthday. PS. Josh, I totally believe you have some Filipino in you somewhere.

John! Mike is the man who first gave me a chance to photograph you guys and now I have done press 3 times for you guys. I love it so much. I love that it captures raw emotion, none of it is posed or faked. I love that it’s an outlet for me. My photos make me feel unique and I love it!

I try my best to take good pictures but i mostly take them on my iPhone and lets be honest, the quality just isn’t there. I have a couple good pics of you guys from tours but none worthy of posting on here haha. Here are two I’ve taken, one is from the Fun. show last summer and the second is from One Direction this summer. I love the crowd shots of bigger shows because you get to see just how many people the music is hitting. Idk just always thought it was a cool way to see those shots. And I love this pic of Nate because it was their last song of their hometown show and you can see that he is taking it all in. You can almost see the words “holy shit this is crazy” plastered on his face. Like I said not the best quality but still I’m happy with them 😛
